All about the Sesame Street at SeaWorld San Diego

My son loves Elmo, and when I told him that we are going to meet Elmo in real at San Diego SeaWorld , he was SUPER excited. We’ve been to San Diego SeaWorld previously but this time it got really special for #mypozerboy as he got to meet all the Sesame Street Characters in person.

We were invited to attend the park for the day to share our views about the park and The Sesame Street Party Parade which kicked off on May 5th and runs until 2nd September/2018. In addition to it,they also added reserved(limited) seating to Dine with Elmo and his Friends. So a Big Thanks to San Diego SeaWorld for giving us this unforgettable experience.

We knew it would be fun but we had way more fun than we ever imagined

The Sesame Street Party Parade:

The Parade features 10 larger-than-life themed floats including all the Sesame Street characters like Elmo, Cookie Monster, Abby , Big Bird, Oscar the Grouch, Bert , Ernie etc which was so colorful and energetic that your whole family will be singing and dancing throughout the parade.

Elmo and Rosita

This was only one of its kind in California which has Sesame street friends with a highly energetic 20-minute experience that will have you and your kids dance to the music and of course with your favorite Sesame Street character.

You can get reserved seating for the parade for $10 per person, or $25 for a VIP package that includes a light-up necklace. And If you observe my pictures , it is not much crowded as we had a reserve seating and during the parade, the furry characters actually came to us to give a high-five.

Meet and Greet :

Aareeb was unstoppable when he saw Elmo taking pictures with other kids, he literally trespassed the ropes and hugged Elmo and the funny part was he was not letting him go because he din’t want other kids to take pictures with his Elmo lol . But finally we managed to stand in a line and wait for our turn and the rest you can see in the picture.

Other Fun Things for Kids:

There are so many Sesame Street Theme Rides and Other fun things to do specially for kids. Which includes a play area and a splash where kids can easily spend an entire day without even getting bored.

Aareeb’s Favorite ride was Elmo’s Flying Fish which goes up and down across an imaginary ocean and the fish actually resembles Elmo.

Look who’s having more fun on Elmo’s Flying Fish?Aareeb’s Dad !!

The next favorite ride was Abby’s Sea Star Spin in which you can experience some whirls and twirls as you control the spin with the wheel at the center of your cup.

Dinner With Elmo and Friends :

It was our first time having a character dinning experience and i can’t explain how much fun it was.At one point we were not able to decide what was more distracting ,The Food or the Furry Characters? lol  They had a wonderful dinner buffet with lots of options to choose from and of course a full serving of hugs and giggles from Elmo and his friends.

I took my daughter there when she was younger and she loved it! We’ve also been to Sesame Place on the East Coast, and this is a very similar but smaller version of it. Looks like your son had lots of fun!

What a fabulous initiative taken by Seaworld San Diego to introduce the Sesame Street attraction. The Sesame Street Characters have been loved by children for decades now and it is always such a delight to see the looks on their faces as they watch and get involved. It definitely looks like Aareeb loved it just as much as all the other children and it must have made you happy also.

Oh my goodness….. how cute is this! Growing up I LOVED Sesame Street and I’d watch it religiously. When tickle me Elmo came out I had to get one for myself even though I was an adult. Unfortunately I couldn’t instill the same excitement in my daughter! LOL! But this looks superfun!

Wow… My kids are going to be crazy about SeaWorld. They also love seeing all Sesame characters there, we have a special sesame breakfast last time when we went to the universal studio in Japan. We all sat down and had breakfast buffet with Big bird and cookie monster, it was a lot of fun.

What a lovely and fun place. An ideal getaway for the family. Of course a nice place that would thrill the kids. Your son of course seems to have had a whale of a time with Elmo and gang. Indeed probably one of the happiest places ringing with the peals of laughter of kids.
