Finding a Luxury Hotel in New York City might not be challenging but finding a hotel which is not just luxury but also Kid Friendly can be. So Here I am with another Luxury Family Friendly Hotel , In this Blog i will be talking about our stay at one of the luxury Hotels in New York Downtown – Conrad Downtown New York City.

Located in lower Manhattan, Conrad is a gem for families travelling with kids for so many reasons, Below are few of my favorite highlights about this place which will definitely make you want to stay here.
- You couldn’t ask for a better spot as a touristic Family.
- Some of the famous and must visit spots like One World Trade Center, 9/11 Memorial, Wall street, Oculus Transit Station, Battery Park , Brooklyn Bridge and the ferries to Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island are located with a 15-20 minute walking distance from this hotel.
- After a Long touristic day, relax your feet with panoramic views of Hudson River.
- There’s play area located opposite to the hotel.
- For families traveling with kids, they have a family room escape package. Book one room for you and get the second one for just 150$.
- Extra coffee, extra water bottles and sleep fragrances .
- The best thing I liked about their rooms is Inbuilt water filter to reduce the use of plastic. Being a mother, this is something I would prefer in every hotel instead of plastic bottles.
- There’s also the Loopy Doopy rooftop bar, which is a terrace on the 16th floor of the hotel. It offers sweeping views of the Hudson River, the Statue of Liberty and New York Harbor
We got a Family Room Escape Package with which we got two rooms , one for kids with two queens and and one for adults with one King. Both the rooms were huge by New York City standards and the layout was similar with large walk-in closet, Separate bedrooms, bathroom , vanity area , But my favorite part of the rooms were the In-Built water filters and separate Shower rooms. And when I looked out from my window, I could see One World Trade Center standing tall just few steps away from the hotel.
SUMMARY:
I Highly recommend this hotel to everyone traveling to New York, especially if you are travelling with kids then undoubtedly this is the best one you got with a Kid’s play area which is rare to find in a busy Lower Manhattan.

That sounds extremely sanctimonious and condescending, as if “being a mother” is the only thing that makes you want to reduce your plastic usage!
