BATTERY PARK,STATUE OF LIBERTY & ELLIS ISLAND:
My day-2 in New York was super exciting because i was starting my day by visiting Battery park to see The Lady liberty.For this i had to change 2 metros (7)&(5).I booked my ticket on statuecruises.com a month before so that i can get access to the Crown.Ticket includes a ferry ride to the statue of liberty & Ellis Island. It was an amazing experience & Everyone should visit this at least once in lifetime(Click here for detailed information on statue of liberty).

CHARGING BULL:
From battery park we went to see the Charging Bull which symbolically represents the financial market strength of New York.This is a very busy area and if you want to click pictures you should pop in quickly,smile & get out.For me It’s something you just do once in your life to say you’ve seen or done it.If you want to take pictures here without a time limit,i would recommend going early in the morning to avoid crowd.
11 WALL STREET:
From there we walked through wall street to see the main street which is 11 wall street.Wall street is a dream working place for many people.You can just feel the money swirling around your head around here.It is a great place to sit and watch the beautiful architecture and history around you.I kept staring at the huge George Washington statue which was incredibly cool, later i got to know it was the actual place where he stood & took the oath for president of united state.

9/11 TRIBUTE CENTER:
As the name itself say it’s a tribute center,which has the guided tour led by the volunteers- survivors, family members,rescue workers who share their 9/11 experience with you.The ticket for admission is 15$ per adult,but i used my Explorer pass to get admission which was worth the visit I haven’t been this moved by any site i have visited while travelling.The guides will share their own real stories of 9/11 tragedy which will make you mesmerized and of course sadden.There’s a wall where the pictures of those who lost their lives are posted. You will also get to see the exact place where the twin towers were actually built,now that place has huge pools which is a tribute to the one who lost their lives during the 9/11 tragedy.For me it is a must visit place for everyone who visit NYC.
ONE WORLD TRADE CENTER:
From there we headed to world trade center which was right in the opposite street of 9/11 tribute center.The general admission ticket was 34$ but i used my explorer pass to get the admission(click here for detailed information on world trade center).
HOP ON/OFF BUS TOUR:
From one world trade center we took a hop on/off bus as we were tired and want to just relax.For around 60$/person you get uptown tour,downtown tour,Brooklyn tour and night tour for 2days. I used my Explorer pass to get into a uptown tour bus,and then the night tour bus.As soon as i got in they gave me headsets for audio tour as they have several knowledgeable live tour guides.I got to see many uptown places through this tour.You can hop in/off where ever you want .There are several stops where you can catch a bus for every 15 minutes.Overall it was a good experience. The only thing which irritating us was the traffic, because of the traffic we got stuck at many places.

I was in New York a few years ago and it was great. I would have loved to visit Ellis Island.
I haven’t been to NYC since I was a kid, but going back is on my bucket list. Did you check out Rockefeller center?

I saw Elis Island but the Lady Liberty was closed for renovations when I went. Elis Island was so interesting to learn about.
I wanted to experience the bus tour when I get there at NYC. Of course the twin tower will be my first stop, I like the idea that it will be guided by the survivors and family members which can share their 9/11 experience.
I’ve never been to New York, but these pictures make me want to go! I’ve never heard of the Charging Bull. I bet it’s cool to see in person!
I really want to go to New York to explore and Times Square. This all looks amazing!

I love NYC! I was there years ago and hope to go back with my daughter one day. I just hope I don’t get lost. I’m horrible with direction. I’d probably just stay on that bus.

We just recently moved to this area and I can’t wait to be a total tourist and check everything out. This is my first time in the city so I have so much to see and experience. There are so many iconic things to see.
I live in New York and it is beautiful. Yes hectic but that is what New York is about. Many fabulous places to visit.
Fun seeing where you went in my home town. Born there, lived near through HS and visit at least once or twice a year … so the Big Apple is my city!
Reading this post thinking I take NYC for granted altogether. Planning to move out of NYC but probably should make a plan to be a tourist for a week before I go… 🙂

I love New York – been there several times and never have time to see all that I want to see. Looks like you were able to capture so much fun.
I have only seen the Statue of Liberty a couple of times, from afar. I would like to see her up close and personal. It’s scary and sad to see the silverware from 9/11. I cannot wait to return to NYC to take touristy pictures…I never really had a good camera to do that whenever I went.
New York is on my bucket list, I want to visit Lady Liberty and other popular sites in NY!
New York is one of the places I would love to visit with my boys. Your photos make me want to haul them to the next plane, if only I could. It sure will be a trip all of us will enjoy, especially that my son really loves to see Lady Liberty. In the meantime, I will admire these attractions through the NYC postcards I recently got!

[…] The name itself says it all “GRAND” .Grand central is the place where most movies are filmed . I love to see the history and archetecture of this place but The main reason you’ll be here is if you need a MetroNorth train to go north of New York. The second reason is it’s also a major subway hub that connects to Times Square and Union Square. The third reason is for the food and shops for people that work nearby or people passing through.
