Our Stay at Grand Legacy at the Park – Disneyland California
Grand Legacy at The Park :
If you guys have been following us on Instagram, you should be knowing that we recently came back from our Staycation at Grand Legacy at the Park Hotel in Anaheim and here in this blog I will be sharing all the details about this hotel and why we choose this for our Staycation.
A Big Thank You to the Grand Legacy at the Park for hosting my family, but all opinions are my own.
The Hotel :
As the name itself says, Grand Legacy at the Park is one of the hotels which is closest to the Disneyland Park. Its literally across the street from the entry gates to Disneyland (lessthan a 4 Minute walk). You don’t have to break your bank to stay in a hotel close to Disneyland and Grand Legacy is definitely one of those hotels where the location can’t beat the price.
THE ROOM :
We stayed in a Double Room which was super spacious for a family of 4, and it definitely looked and felt bigger than any average double room in any hotel. Not just the room but its bathroom was also very spacious with a double sink vanity area stuffed with extra towels and toiletries. Amenities included a refrigerator, microwave , Coffee machine , Free Wifi, a desk to work and crib upon request.
Pool :
The best way to beat the California’s summers is by soaking in water. When my kids noticed that this hotel had a pool with Splash park, they did not waste a minute. The pool was appropriate for all ages , there was a splash park , vending machines for drinks and snacks, towel station , Pool toys and a lot of Lounge chairs
You know your hotel is considered Kid friendly when you notice that it is made keeping kids in mind and looking at the pool area, that’s exactly what I felt and I was glad I made a right decision for our staycation.
Downtown Disney :
On the days when you are not visiting Disney Parks, you can check out Downtown Disney for free and its just a 5 minute walk from the hotel. There’s tons of stores for shopping, lot of restaurants , snack bars and many photo ops all over Downtown Disney. At Night you may catch a glimpse of the fireworks from the open spaces.
The FIFTH Rooftop Restaurant & Bar :
The Fifth is located on the fifth floor of the hotel with views of beautiful sunset and Disneyland California Park. And because its a Disney Restaurant, it can never go wrong with the quality of the food. There’s lot of options to choose from for both Parents and Kids and am sure it will definitely not disappoint you .
The Highlight of this Restaurant is the unobstructed views of the Disneyland Fireworks with actual Song playing in the background. The Fireworks starts at 9:30 Pm. I believe this restaurant has become one of the hot places to celebrate any special occasion and always high in demand , Hence Reservations are required anytime throughout the year.
Parking :
Parking is located at the Hotel for 18$ per Night and for the Restaurant its 15$ per Night.
