Things to do with Kids in Phoenix
Recently we’ve went on our first trip to Phoenix and totally fell in love with this sunshine city. There’s no doubt Phoenix one of the popular destinations for tourists as it has year around sunshine which means year around endless fun. But did you guys know there’s so much you can do with kids there ? In this blog I will be sharing Things to do with Kids in Phoenix where both kids and parents can equally have fun.

Phoenix Zoo :
A visit to this wildlife haven is truly one of the top things to do in Phoenix for Kids of all ages. Apart from looking around the wild creatures here, you can also feed Giraffes and Ride on Camels which is what makes Phoenix Zoo different from others on West Coast. Also During Summers, there’s splash pads for kids so make sure you pack extra clothes or swim suites for them.

OdySea Aquarium :
One of the things I have always recommended parents is to take their kids to aquariums and when in Phoenix, you definitely can’s miss Odysea Aquarium located in Scottsdale Arizona. It’s is the largest one we have in Southwest United States which holds over 6000 animals of 370 different species with interactive exhibits which means not even an entire day is enough for you and your kids to explore and learn about all the species they have. It’s a perfect way to spend an entire day indoors learning about the sea creatures specially when you and your kids want to take a break from the sunny weather.

Hole in the Rock:
No matter what age your kids are, Hiking this master piece is so fun and easy to do. Once you are up there, you can see not just the Papago Park but the entire Phoenix.

Arizona Science Center :
Arizona Science Center is one of the best things to do when in Phoenix. With more than 300 hands-on, interactive permanent exhibits , it definitely keeps your kids entertained for an entire day and they come out with great knowledge. As my son is into Space, so he really loved their space exhibit

- Botanical Garden :
This is one of the must visit places in Phoenix where you will learn a lot about the Arid plants from all around the world. It was also fun to watch the desert wild life roaming freely here . I would highly recommend visiting this place with kids as you all can learn a lot about these desert plants. It’s a Desert Botanical Garden , so except the temperatures to be high specially during summers so please carry Sunglasses, Hat and lots of water. They also have a restaurant @gertrudesdbg where you can have some amazing food for reasonable prices.

Japanese Friendship Garden :
Located in the middle of the city, I can say, Japanese Friendship Garden is a hidden gem which most of the people don’t talk about much. Its a small gardens with Koi Fish , lots of greenery and benches to just sit and relax while kids are busy feeding the fishes. There’s also a Play area just beside this garden which was so much fun for kids.

Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown :
If you guys are planning to do activities in Phoenix then I would highly suggest Hampton Inn & Suites as literally most of the activities are either walkable or less than 10 minutes from this Hotel. Not just that, they also have complimentary grab and go breakfast which i believe is definitely a Plus during trips.

If you just want to go have fun in a hotel, then Great Wolf Lodge is your place. Its not a secret that Great Wolf lodge is spread across various locations all over USA. Its a great family friendly hotel which not only has themed rooms for families but has tons of activities for kids, Indoor water park, character meetings and many more that you wouldn’t want to step out of this hotel.
